§01 The service
Redimates is a Chrome browser extension operated by Behindmemory ("we", "us", "our"). It reads the public Reddit page you have open, takes the message you wrote in your own language, and produces an English reply that fits the subreddit's tone. It also offers a post summary and a "show me what my reply means in my language" translation. By installing the extension or using the website, you agree to these terms.
§02 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and have a Reddit account in good standing. You must comply with Reddit's User Agreement and the rules of every subreddit you participate in.
§03 Free and Pro
- Free: 10 replies per week, plus the post summary and reply translation features.
- Pro: US$11 per month. Unlimited replies, unlimited Account Checkup refreshes, 30-day Growth Plan, daily Opportunities feed, and any future Pro-only features.
The free quota resets weekly based on the timestamp stored in your browser. We may change the free limit or Pro feature mix with notice on the website and in the extension.
§04 Payment, renewal, cancellation
Pro is billed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. The subscription auto-renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Paddle customer portal (link in your purchase confirmation email); access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds. You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal. The most direct route is the link in your Paddle confirmation email, which takes you into Paddle's customer portal, where a refund request can be submitted directly. Alternatively, you may email sean@redimates.com from the address used at checkout, and we will process the refund through Paddle within one business day. Outside the 14-day window, refunds are granted at our discretion. Paddle's general refund policy applies as the underlying consumer-protection standard.
§05 Acceptable use
You agree not to use Redimates to:
- Post on subreddits that prohibit AI-generated content, without disclosing it where required.
- Spam, brigade, harass, defame, or impersonate.
- Evade subreddit bans, mod actions, or Reddit's content policies.
- Generate sexual content involving minors, content that incites violence, or anything illegal in your jurisdiction or Reddit's.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or share your License Key.
Each subreddit sets its own rules about AI assistance. Read the sidebar before you post. Violations are between you and Reddit, but repeat violations of these terms allow us to terminate your access.
§06 AI-generated content
Output from the extension is generated by a third-party AI service. You are the author of anything you actually post. AI output can be wrong, biased, or inappropriate for the context. Always read your reply before sending. Redimates makes no claim to ownership of your output, and disclaims responsibility for what you choose to post.
§07 Reddit trademark
"Reddit" and the Reddit logo are trademarks of Reddit, Inc. Redimates is an independent extension and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Reddit, Inc.
§08 Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate, useful, or fit for any particular purpose. Do not rely on AI output for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
§09 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redimates's total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost karma, lost opportunities, or moderation actions taken against you.
§10 Termination
You can stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the extension and (if applicable) cancelling your Pro subscription via Paddle. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, with or without notice.
§11 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be announced in the extension. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
§12 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
